Tomorrow I'm taking my road test to see if I can get my drivers licence, but I feel horribly under prepared. I'm only hitting my parallel park one time in four, my starts and stops aren't as smooth as I want them to be, and we're doing this test during rush hour which could be a problem if they want to see my highway driving. This may be the first time I haven't been certain about a test!

Have to go to sleep. Have to stop thinking. I'm in that stupid phase I get when I'm over tired, and I have to go to sleep because I've got to go into work early tomorrow morning, but I can't sleep because my stupid brain wont let me sleep. Stupid stupid brain.

Yup, it's hailing. There are very few times I wish I could legally drive, but when it's hailing and I have to get to the grocery store tops the list.
Also, today's public service announcement is that the Tonys are on tomorrow and all the fabulous people on LJ should make plans to watch it. Preferably with a fruity girlie drink in one hand and your appetizer of choice in the other!

It is raining in Calgary and I am seriously considering faking my own death so I can go play in it instead of going to work. Or perhaps kidnapping is the better choice.

This morning I looked at the board where we list our to do jobs, noticed that there wasn't much on there, and jokingly told my manager that if he wanted to let me go home early that would be fine with me. And he did! I spent the afternoon at the mall trying to find shorts and watching Angels and Demons.
My official review for Angels and Demons is as follows: Meh.
I saw everything coming, but it was pretty at some points. If you're looking for something to see, go watch Star Trek.

Instead it's a post about how I played frisbee in the rain with six fantastic beautiful people who ignored the fact that I can't hold my liquor (it's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Yesterday morning I discovered that I only had one pair of shorts in the house, and that those one pair of shorts were my swimsuit. As a result I've been walking around in my swimsuit all weekend wishing I had time to go to the pool. I don't.
However this has given me plans for next Saturday!!
ETA: Also, I make fantastic compost

Operation: Massive Breakfast for Family went off perfectly. Omelet stuck to the pan, but that was forgivable because the strawberry stuffed french toast was delicious. Mini sauseges will be remembered for next time. Everyone happy, full, and either off to church or doing DnD character creation.
Dog wishes he could partake.
